Hanumanji's Knowledge of Ravana: Insights from the Uttarakanda

Jai Shriram! Before going to the Lanka, Bhagwan Hanumanji must have known the following things:

Ravana's battle with Vali According to the Uttarkanda of Valmiki Ramayana, after getting boons, Ravana arrived at Kishkindha to challenge Vali for a duel. Vali however was not there and Sugrivaji then told Ravana that he can find Vali at the southern ocean. Ravana then goes to the ocean and tries to ambush Vali, who was performing his evening prayers.

As Ravana tried to catch Vali, the latter sensed him and caught him in his armpit. While Ravana was still in Vali's armpit, Vali went to Western, Northern and Eastern oceans. After completing his evening prayers, Vali returned to Kishkindha. He mocked him by acting surprised on noticing Ravana.

Ravana's challenge to God Surya When Hanumanji was hit by Vajra, God Surya gave him the word to be his teacher. At some point, God Surya must have told Hanumanji about Ravana. According to the Uttarkanda of Valmiki Ramayana, Ravana once tried to challenge God Surya, but God Surya did not have a desire to fight. Ravana then returned from the abode of God Surya.

A parallel explanation could be that God Hanumanji was well aware of his identity as a portion of Bhagwan Shiva and also of his original purpose. Hence he must have known everything about Ravana.
